CC19 - #17 - "HEART" Project

World Transform’s Integrated Tribal Development Program in the Central State of India called Madhya Pradesh is called “The Heart Project”. The program operates near Barwani where G.O.S.P.E.L. missionaries are already working. The project has made a massive impact in the lives of over 20 villages. We have directly impacted 1330 families (over 6,000 image bearers).

From being rejected by local governing authorities, advocacy has changed their lives. They are no longer being deprived of their rights. From fear of officials, they are now self-confident. From being divided they are united and self-confident and financially self-sufficient. Women have been empowered and children are being sent to school. Through education, the land is being composted, yields have improved, and health has improved due to better nutrition. Addiction to tobacco and alcohol has dramatically reduced.
