CC17 - #17 - Heart Project
World Transform's Integrated Tribal Development Program in the Central State of India called Madhya Pradesh has been named "The Heart Project". The program will operate near Badwani where G.O.S.P.E.L. missionaries are already working.
The exciting feature of the Heart Project is that it integrates ‘WORD’ AND ‘DEED’ more closely in the heart of India.
Components of the Project:
- Improvement in Agricultural production
- Establishment of women’s self help groups
- Links with banks – savings schemes
- Income generation schemes
- Improving community health
- Target villages to be self sufficient after two 3 year cycles.
