CC21 - #19 - A Piglet

Money raised by Compassionate Catalogue 19 was enough for 57 piglets and food. These were given to desperately poor Tharu people from southern Nepal, where the Nepal Reformed Church has been doing ministry for over five years.

The gift of a piglet and money to feed the piglet for 3 – 4 months resulted in most families more than doubling the money that was originally invested. Also breeding with the pigs has lifted many out of desperate poverty. Praise the Lord!

Other wonderful news is that 8 families came to faith in Christ, through this act of compassion in Jesus name.

We plan to duplicate the program in other villages.

 Consider alleviating some poverty by giving a piglet to help an extremely poor person generate income for their family.
