CC22 - #19 - A Piglet (Nepal)

Last year the money raised by Compassionate Catalogue 2021 was enough for 44 piglets and food. These were given to desperately poor Tharu people from Southern Nepal, where the Nepal Reformed Church has been doing ministry for over 6 years.

The gift of a piglet and some money to feed the piglet for 3-4 months resulted in most families more than doubling the money that was originally invested. Breeding with the pigs has lifted many out of desperate poverty. 

Families hear about Christ and some come to faith in Christ, through this act of compassion in Jesus name.

Consider alleviating some poverty by giving a piglet to help an extremely poor person generate income for their family.
